Syazwan’s impressive journey is highlighted by his remarkable achievements in the competitive dance scene. He's claimed victory in some of Singapore’s most prestigious dance competitions, including Super24, Danceworks, Gatsby, and Jim Beam. His talent and artistry were further recognized in 2009 when he earned the Champion & Artistic Merit Award, cementing his status as one of Singapore’s elite dancers.

As a professional commercial dancer, Syazwan has worked with global music legends, including Rick Astley, Johnny Hates Jazz, and Dato Siti Nurhaliza, bringing his electrifying energy to the stage as a backup dancer. He’s also shone in both local and international musicals, performing in critically acclaimed shows like Super Mommy Eny at the Resorts World Theatre (2018), Beauty World at Victoria Theatre (2015), and Impak Maksima at the Esplanade Theatre (2009).

Syazwan’s talent has taken him across the globe, representing Singapore at the WORLD EXPO in Shanghai (2010) and Yeosu, South Korea (2012), thanks to his work with the Singapore Tourism Board and Pico. Beyond performance, he’s also made a name for himself as a director and choreographer, creating stunning music videos and advertisements for major brands like Shopee and Lazada.

This class will teach you how to walk, dance, and master floor work in stilettos! If you’ve never worn stilettos before, don’t worry – feel free to start by dancing barefoot. You’ll also have the chance to learn an exciting choreography!

STILETTOS

Prerequisites: None! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or experienced dancer.

Attire: Wear fitted, stretchy clothing and bring your indoor dance stilettos. Don’t forget to bring your most fabulous outfit—there will be video footage taken for your social media highlights!

This class will teach you how to walk, dance, do floor work and do movements/transitions with the pole using stilettos heels! If you’ve never worn stilettos before, don’t worry – feel free to start by dancing barefoot. You’ll also have the chance to learn an exciting choreography!

POLE STILETTOS

Prerequisites: None! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or experienced dancer. Do consider attending the 4:45pm Stilettos class as well, as movements and techniques will be taught with more depth in that session.

Attire: Wear fitted, stretchy clothing and bring your indoor dance stilettos. Don’t forget to bring your most fabulous outfit—there will be video footage taken for your social media highlights!

Rescheduling of Classes

Please note that once booked, Syazwan’s workshops are final. No rescheduling is allowed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We highly encourage you to film yourself! There will also be dedicated time towards the end of the class where each participant gets to have their videos taken.

    As for filming Syazwan and your classmates, kindly check in with them before you do.

  • Unfortunately, there are no multi-workshop discounts available. We do have multi-course discounts that are applicable only for full term 8-week courses.

  • Student discounts are applicable only for MAD’s 8-week Term Courses. Other types of classes, including guest instructor workshops, are not eligible for student discounts.

  • Registration is already opened! See below!

  • Sign ups close when either of the following occurs:

    • The class reaches its maximum capacity, or

    • One minute before the class's scheduled start time.

  • Please note that once booked, Syazwan’s workshops are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
