Alexa
With a background of artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, Alexa has always been fond of the combination of artistry and athleticism of these sports. In University, Alexa joined the contemporary and jazz dance club, Dance Art, and performed on both local and international stages (e.g. Sibu and Macau International Dance Festival). Fast forward to 2021, Alexa took her first Pole course at SLAP Dance Studio, where her love and passion for the aerial arts grew with every skill and apparatus learned. Today in MAD, Alexa wishes to share her love for this art form to help students to reach their goals or just wants to have fun.

Amanda
Amanda has been a pole-fitness enthusiast since 2015, specializing in floorwork and low flow. She loves exploring other disciplines, including competitive cheerleading for three years in Switzerland and jiu-jitsu in her free time. Passionate about teaching, Amanda shares her knowledge of pole fitness by fostering a safe and nurturing environment where others can explore and enjoy different forms of movement.

Anna
Anna began dancing at age 5 with ballet and continued her training through her teens, where she studied ballet and contemporary dance professionally in the UK, developing a strong foundation in the art. Her pole journey started in Germany, where the blend of strength and artistry immediately resonated with her.
Specialzing in contemporary and lyrical pole, Anna combines her background in dance with pole technique to create expressive, fluid, yet challenging choreography. As an instructor, she brings her deep understanding of contemporary movement into the studio – guiding students through flowy yet challenging sequences, and encouraging her students to explore movement with emotion, creativity, and control.

Arina
Arina, a former competitive gymnast, discovered pole as a way to reignite the thrill and sense of accomplishment she once felt in gymnastics. The excitement of mastering new tricks and the challenge of pushing her limits quickly turned into a passion. As a lover of bendy tricks and splits, Arina incorporates gymnastics drills and movements to build strength and flexibility while helping students progress safely.

Azi
An educator at heart, Azi discovered her passion for pole in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since. With a background that includes dabbling in adult gymnastics, she brings a unique blend of strength and grace to her craft. Azi’s dedication and talent shone through when she placed 3rd in Exotic Generation Greece, showcasing her mastery in hardstyle pole – a niche that perfectly captures her bold, dynamic energy. Whether performing or teaching, Azi’s mission is to inspire others to embrace their strength and creativity through pole.

Carissa
Carissa has always been physically active, with a keen interest in mobility, strength, and skill work. As pole is the perfect combination of all three, it instantly captured her attention. She is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who teaches yoga, mobility, and strength in fitness studios, 1-on-1 sessions, international apps, and to corporate clients such as Nike, Glow Yoga Festival, Conrad, and Oriental Remedies Clinic. Her background has allowed her to not only pick up aerial skills quickly, but also help students find specialised drills.

Cecilia
Cecilia began her dance journey with six years of Chinese Dance experience throughout primary school, laying the foundation for her passion for movement and expression. In August 2023, she discovered pole and aerial arts and was instantly captivated by their elegance and strength. Though she had no formal dance training, Cecilia embraced the challenges of starting from scratch. Now, she is dedicated to guiding students with a structured and supportive approach, fostering their confidence and helping them refine their skills in these dynamic art forms.

Charmaine
Charmaine discovered her love for movement through ballet and gymnastics at age 7, but it was her first pole dance trial in 2018 that truly reignited her passion for dance. She trained at Physipole Carlton in Melbourne before joining SLAP Dance Studio in Singapore, where she later became part of the teaching team. Now with MAD, she teaches pole, chair, floor play, hammock and lyra with a focus on strong foundations and creative expression. Certified in XPERT Pole 1 & 2 and a qualified nutritionist, Charmaine blends her knowledge of movement and wellness to help students grow with confidence – on and off the pole.

Chia
Chia began her dance journey at the age of 4, starting with Chinese dance under the Beijing Dance Academy. While she had to put dance on pause during her teenage years, she finds herself drawn back to dance again and again - be it trying street styles in university or taking up reggaeton classes during her study exchange. After dabbling with various dance genres, she finally found pole in 2021 and fell in love with how it's a perfect blend of sports and arts. Chia is also a diabolo coach and has represented Singapore in the 2018 Taiwan Citizens Sports Games 全民运动会.

Crystal discovered the world of aerial arts in November 2022. Immediately captivated by the art form's beauty and strength, aerial hammock, in particular, won her heart with its grace and elegance.
Coming from a background without any prior dance experience, Crystal believes she can offer a fresh and relatable perspective to students who are also stepping into the aerial world for the first time. She emphasises building confidence through the art form and wants to ensure that every student feels supported and encouraged to progress at their own pace. Passionate about making aerial arts accessible to everyone, Crystal believes that it can be a discipline for all. -
Cyn
With a foundation in ballet and rhythmic gymnastics, Cyn brings grace, precision, and fluidity to every class. Since discovering pole dance in 2022, she has fallen in love with the Old School’s style of heel-work and articulation – drawn to its sensuality, groove, and expressive power. Her teaching emphasises musicality, clean technique, and thoughtful movement, creating a supportive space where students can explore, grow, and fully express themselves with confidence and joy.

Danni, your movement guru with over a decade of groove and teaching under her belt. She’s all about mixing the perfect moves with a whole lot of fun. Low flows and sneaky transitions? Those are her secret sauce for turning dance into a thrilling adventure. But here’s the real deal: Danni knows that to become an amazing dancer, you need a rock-solid technique. With her step-by-step guidance, you’ll master the basics and refine your skills, building your dance journey on a strong foundation. And when she’s not showing gravity who’s boss on the pole, you’ll often catch her pulling off gravity-defying handstands. Danni’s energy and passion are contagious, and she’s here to make your dance experience not just a class but an exciting escapade!

Eva
Eva embarked on her fitness journey in 2017, seeking a transformative adventure that celebrated the beauty of strength. In 2021, she ventured into the world of pole dancing, drawn by the challenges and the captivating blend of artistry and athleticism it offered. With no prior dance background, Eva found a profound appreciation for the harmony of masculinity and femininity within each of us. She believes that strength is beautiful, and embraces this philosophy in her teaching. Empathetically guiding her students, Eva understands the challenges of starting without prior experience. Her mission is to inspire others to embrace their strengths, challenge their limits, and celebrate their unique fitness journeys.

Fiona
Fiona began her Classical Ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dance from a young age of 8 years old. She received her pre-tertiary education at School of the Arts, Singapore, where she trained in contemporary and ballet and graduated with an international baccalaureate Diploma. Fiona joined T.H.E Second Company as an apprentice in 2013 after training under distinguished artist, Silvia Yong. She further pursued her dance education with Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), practicing diverse movement disciplines and graduated with a BFA degree. Fiona then moved on into her teaching career as a Classical Ballet Instructor since 2018.

Hani
Hani took her first pole dance class in January 2022, inspired by the strength and grace of the art. With no prior dance experience, she views pole as an avenue for self-expression and exploration of movement, deepening her understanding of the body and building confidence. As a special education teacher of more than 10 years, she encourages others and seeks innovative ways to teach, looking forward to sharing her experiences and insights with those around her.

Jasmine
Jasmine established herself as a professional pole dancer and choreographer for over a decade. She was the founding member of Bobbi’s Pole Dance Studio Singapore, the world’s foremost Pole Dance studio from Australia and the creator of the annual Miss Pole Dance Australia competition.
Jasmine has also performed with independent dance companies and choreographers in Asia. Her performances include the inaugural Youth Olympics Games Opening Ceremony 2010, the W!LD RICE annual fundraising gala 2009 and the Asian Pole Summit 2008.

Jia Ying
Jia Ying began her dance journey at the age of four with classical ballet at the Singapore Ballet Academy, where she trained for 14 years. During her schooling years, she expanded her dance repertoire to include latin, lyrical dance, contemporary dance, street jazz and burlesque, gaining extensive experience in both performance and competition settings. In 2020, she took part in the Singapore International Latin Festival and emerged as the first runner-up in the amateur Bachata category. She discovered and fell in love with pole dancing in 2021.
Jia Ying loves the way that dancing makes her feel connected to music and herself. Pole dancing in particular makes her feel both strong and graceful at the same time. She hopes to help every student experience that same joy and freedom through movement.

Jo discovered the world of pole dancing in September 2021 and was instantly captivated.
Despite having no prior dance experience, she constantly seeks out opportunities to learn directly from world-class dancers throughout her pole dancing journey. This exposure allowed her to absorb unique movements and teaching techniques, enriching her own practice. Pole dancing has transformed her perspective on her body, shifting her focus to what it can do rather than how it looks. It has become her avenue to express both sensuality and strength. She is eager to share her journey and help students discover the same appreciation and empowerment.

Jojo has always been captivated by the beauty of expression through art, dance, and motion. After three years of competitive cheerleading in the UK, she began exploring the aerial arts in 2018. She finds joy in musicality, fluidity, and the adventure of uncovering new paths of expression. Jojo believes deeply in the enchantment of both movement and strength, and hopes to help others discover their own spark of magic through the aerial arts.

Kellie
Kellie is committed to aging strong in mind, body and soul. She has been in the medtech industry for 30 years and is a registered nurse, physical fitness trainer, yoga, pole and lyra instructor. She embarked on pole dancing 5 years ago in an aim to ‘lift herself’ after a serious illness and have since successfully helped herself and many women in weight and menopause management. She is acutely aware of clinical conditions and her expertise lies in customized strength and flexibility conditioning and also highly experienced in training specially-abled persons.

Kim May
Kim May’s journey from early dance training to discovering pole dance reflects her love for dance, movement, fitness, and self-expression. She received the Most Popular award at Bobbi’s Pole Studio Singapore Amateur Night in 2014 and has participated in many performances for events like the Singapore Night Festival, underscoring her talent and commitment to the art. She went on to explore new vertical dance forms like aerial silks and hammocks and now shares her love and experience in aerial sport and dance with others.

Kim Z
Kim Z has loved dancing and movement as a little girl. She was a Latin ballroom dancer in university, and took her first pole dancing class at age 25 – she never looked back and is still in love with pole dancing today. Beside pole, she is also trained in aerial hoops, hammock, and silks. Her motto is “Nothing is ever impossible if you set your heart to it”. She loves sharing her passion for movement and dance through teaching, and aims to help her students do the same.

Kumiko
Kumiko began her dance journey at age 10 with modern ballet, then explored gymnastics as a teenager, followed by jazz dance where she had multiple opportunities performing on stage in Japan.
In 2015, she stumbled upon pole dancing, and it instantly captivated her with its blend of athleticism and artistry.
Alongside pole dance, she is passionate about calisthenics, mobility training, holding a Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)®️ Certification. She wishes to share her love for movement and help others discover their strength and creativity on the pole.

Leron’s passion for dance began during her university years, where she actively participated in various dance activities. She was introduced to pole dance in 2011 and has been actively learning and teaching ever since. Her love for movement soon led her to explore the world of aerial arts, where she was exposed to various apparatus such as silks, hoop, and trapeze. After a brief hiatus from 2017 to 2021, Leron returned to the community, eager to share her journey and the knowledge she has gained with others. She is now teaching Pole, Hoop, Silks, Aerial Pole, Hammock in MAD and Aerial Arts Collective.

Maegan’s passion for movement was sparked in her childhood years through dance, particularly through her 6 years taking ballet classes. Though her journey took a pause, the flame reignited in 2021 when she discovered the world of aerial arts. Despite initial challenges like lacking prior strength experience (she struggled with passing inclined pull-ups for NAPFA), her determination and resilience propelled her forward. Specialising in Hammock and Hoop, she now channels her experiences into inspiring students, sharing her love for aerial arts and empowering others on their own transformative journeys.

With a lifelong passion for movement, Mary has been exploring dance, yoga and joyful self-expression since her teen years. She discovered pole dance in 2020 and quickly fell in love with its blend of strength, fluidity, and dynamism. As a certified yoga instructor, Mary brings her expertise in body awareness and alignment to pole dancing, empowering students to build strength, flexibility, and confidence. Her approach emphasizes safe, sustainable practices, allowing students to progress and excel while enjoying the artistry and power of pole dance.

In her classes, she creates a safe, welcoming space where students can explore movement and their relationship with it – free from judgment. With no formal dance background herself, she understands how unfamiliar movement can feel at first, spurring on her passion for helping others begin their pole journey. For that one hour of class time in the studio, she invites students to show up as they are, reconnect with their bodies, and grow in strength, confidence, and self-expression.

Zoey started her dance journey in the world of ballet. Over the years, her journey unfolded across a diverse array of genres, including Lyrical, Contemporary, Chinese Dance, Hip Hop, and Street Jazz. She has graced esteemed stages, including the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), Super 24, SEA Games, and Chingay. In 2021, Zoey discovered pole dancing—an art form that beautifully merges strength, elegance, and unapologetic confidence. She hopes to empower others through movement and self-expression, where the pole becomes your canvas for unparalleled self-discovery. Embracing new heights, she has also started exploring other aerial apparatuses such as the hoop!
