Here’s a quick guide to help you find your perfect first pair.

Heel height is measured in inches.
- 7” is our go-to beginner pick — stable but still sexy
- 6” is great if you don’t wear heels often and want extra stability
- 8” when you’re ready to level up 😉
Don’t be afraid to start lower, build ankle strength, then work your way up.
BOOTS
- Cover your foot + ankle
- Give more support.
  👉 Best for beginners.
SANDALS
- Open toe with straps only
- Less support, more ankle wor
  👉 Better after at least one term dancing in boots
Sticking to your true size is recommended.
Most pole heel brands use US sizing while providing equivalent sizing in UK / EU / cm.
If you’re between sizes, come drop by our receptionist desk at RS10 during studio hours for an in-person try-on!

- Open toe: more breathable
- Closed toe: more coverage and protection
If you do a lot of floor work, closed-toe heels can help protect your toenails. 🦶
Pole heels come in many materials, including:
Patent leather, faux leather, faux suede, acrylic, glitter, silicone, and more.
Pole tip:
Avoid suede/cloth if you plan to do pole tricks — opt for patent instead, as it grips the pole better.
